Kidmat Tzvi

Kidmat Tzvi (Hebrew: קִדְמַת צְבִי‎‎) is an Israeli settlement, moshava, in the central Golan Heights, under the administration of Israel. The settlement was built in 1981. It falls under the municipal jurisdiction of the Golan Regional Council. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the Golan Heights illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.[1]

Kidmat Tzvi is a moshav in the Northern District of Israel with a population of 375 people. it's economy based on agriculture - pears and wine grapes. it has 5 boutique wineries which can produce up to 150,000 bottles yearly. half of the mature population works as a teachers. in kidmat tzvi the attitude over education and ecological education is very strict. all of the citizens are secular jewish.

in the village there is basketball court (most popular sport) and soccer court. a medic care, youth center and municipal building.

golan heights area was taken in the 1967 by Israel from Syria in six days war, and been captured again in 1973 at Kipurs day war. under the Syriain control all this area was suffering from neglection and is was necessary to rebuild everything again. therefore near Kidamt zvi a poor and abandoned syriain village is located. as well, there is evidence of jewish synagogue from -500.
